Kelsey 2025 Yoga Classes

MINDFUL YOGA TO CLEAR YOUR MIND, BALANCE YOUR BODY AND NOURISH YOUR SOUL


In-Person + Online via Zoom with Kelsey


For strength, stillness, and sustainable wellness.

These weekly classes offer a steady return to your body, breath, and inner clarity. Each session is designed to calm the nervous system, build strength and flexibility, and help you feel more grounded, balanced, and alive.

Whether you're a beginner or an experienced student, you'll be guided with care and offered variations to meet your body and energy level each day. 

All classes are ongoing except for the 5-week beginner series which has set date ranges through the year.

MONDAYS

5:45 - 6:45  New Beginner yoga series with Kelsey

7:00–8:15pm: Mixed Level Hatha Yoga, with Kelsey


WEDNESDAYS

5:45 - 6:45pm: Prenatal Yoga, with Kelsey

7:00–8:15pm: Mixed Level Hatha Yoga, with Kelsey


CLASS NOTES:

Hatha yoga classes: No experience required, open to all levels, ongoing


5-week beginner yoga series Nov 3 - Dec 1 only $89.25: Open to those with limited or no experience. This gentle series focuses on foundational poses mindful breathing and alignment perfect for those new to yoga or looking to refresh their practice before the new year!


Prenatal yoga classes: Gentle, supportive yoga classes for prenatal women, open to all levels


Online Class Options - Live on Zoom

What to Expect

Each class begins with awareness, pranayama breathwork, and grounding meditation, followed by moving through postures with mindful transitions, always guided to honor your own pace.

Modifications and next steps are offered so you can practice safely and in alignment with your own body and energy. These classes support:

  • Nervous system regulation
  • Strength, mobility, and flexibility
  • Mental clarity and emotional steadiness
  • Confidence in breath and movement
  • A deeper connection to self

Classes are accessible to all levels, including beginners. No prior experience is necessary.


Pricing

Classes are billed in two month segments, beginning with the January–February session. However you’re welcome to join the ongoing sessions at any time—fees are prorated if you begin mid-session. 

Pricing for Ongoing Classes (Hatha yoga, Prenatal yoga)

Once per week attendance is priced at $15 + tax per class.

Twice per week attendance is priced at $17 + tax per class.

Pricing for Beginner Series

The beginner series is set at 5 pre-scheduled sessions. The total is $89.25 per series.

Katonah Yoga® is a deeply intelligent and imaginative practice — where geometry meets metaphor, and personal growth unfolds in community.


This practice uses measures and maps to help you find the right fit for your own body, so you feel supported instead of struggling, aligned instead of forcing. Through breath and metaphor, we calm the nervous system, shifting you from simply “sticking it out” in a pose to actually being present within it.


The practice ignites imagination, giving you new ways to see yourself and your patterns. We use props, hands-on adjustments, and playful language to make each posture more functional, freeing, and sustainable.

In a group, the experience expands — like music played in harmony, we learn from one another and leave feeling more connected, calm, and inspired.

Kelsey Brusnyk

Teacher of Ayurveda and Yoga

And first and foremost, student of life


I’m Kelsey, and my personal ongoing transformation of body and mind - along with having spent many years walking students and clients through the same - fuels my love and enthusiasm for teaching others to skillfully navigate physical, mental and spiritual life so that they can live the vibrant life at their full potential that they’re meant for.

It’s my intention and hope that in my classes, workshops and treatments, you’ll find inspiration and support that empower you to shed the distracting symptoms and limitations of your body and mind so that you can create health and vitality, and consistently live from your inner wisdom.

Kelsey completed her first yoga teacher training in 2009 and has been teaching ever since - including having co-taught 200 and 300-hour Yoga teacher trainings for over a decade. She also provides Ayurveda health consultations, education, and bodywork, and introductory Vedic astrology readings.

I remember sitting at a music festival, watching people dance and laugh with full expression and joy. They were alive in a way I couldn’t imagine for myself. All I could think was, “Wow, I could never live like that.”

In that moment, I realized I wasn’t really living — I was watching life happen from the sidelines. I was afraid to play, to laugh without self-consciousness, to take up space in my own body. I felt undernourished, over-stimulated, and completely lost.

Then I found yoga. For the first time, I felt in my body — grounded, strong, and alive. Each time I stepped onto the mat, I felt more like myself. Yoga gave me tools not just to move, but to know who I am at my core. Every practice became an invitation to dig deeper, to feel more, to live fully.

This was when I understood that it was up to me to reclaim my healing.

My healing journey eventually led me to acupuncture and the world of Chinese Medicine. I couldn’t ignore the similarities between the quiet, powerful flow of Qi I experienced in an acupuncture session and the deep embodiment I felt in yoga. Both practices taught me that healing isn’t a single moment — it’s a slow, intentional remembering of feeling at home in your own body.

This is what it means to reclaim your healing: to move from surviving to thriving, to shift from feeling lost to feeling whole. And this is the work I now offer to you.

I’m Tira — a Registered Acupuncturist and Katonah Yoga® teacher. I combine ancient tools and modern understanding to help you reconnect to your body, release stuck patterns, and step back into your own power. My work is rooted in presence, rhythm, and care — because healing isn’t about fixing you, it’s about helping you reclaim what’s already yours.

My background blends science and soul. I’m certified by the College of Complementary Health Professionals of British Columbia and the Katonah Yoga® Center, and have worked closely with reproductive health clinics, supporting people through IVF, IUI, and fertility journeys of all kinds. I’m a graduate of the Woman Unveiled School of Women’s Mysteries, where I deepened my understanding of shadow work, intuitive healing, and raw femininity. 

I reclaimed my healing, and I believe you can reclaim yours too. I invite you to step back into yourself, into rhythm, and into a life you can fully inhabit.
