Before  your first treatment you will need a short 15 minute free consultation with  one of our certified laser technicians. This consultation is needed to  assess your skin type, assess your suitability for painless laser hair removal treatment and to  discuss how to prep your skin for the best possible result.  If you require a treatment on the day of your consultation this can be arranged  too.

During treatment, the skin is first  cleaned of any lotions or beauty products.  The laser hair removal device is then held to the targeted treatment area.  The laser beam passes through the skin to an individual hair follicle.  The intense heat of the laser damages the hair follicle, which inhibits  future hair growth. 

There is minimal discomfort associated with the  process, and is often compared to a light snapping sensation on the  surface of the skin.

The result is permanently less hair growth or none at all. 

The time it takes to complete treatments depends on the patient  and size of the area being treated. Because laser hair removal is  non-invasive, there is no required downtime afterwards.  However, you  should protect the treated area from the sun by applying sunscreen and  avoiding exposure.  Multiple treatments are suggested in order to achieve optimal results, but that can be assessed as you progress.
